Clark Kent/Superman: Seemingly a mild-mannered report from Smallville, Kansas, Clark is really Superman in disguise. Found as a baby by the Kents in the wreckage of a Kryptonian spacecraft, Clark was adopted and raised as their own. As he grew, he developed special powers and abilities, which he now uses to benefit all mankind. Taking a job at the Daily Planet in Metropolis, Clark can now be on top of the late breaking stories, while still being able to be Superman.

Lois Lane: A star reporter for the Daily Planet, Lois is known for her determination, perserverence, and risk-taking. She will do anything for a story. However, her entire world changes when the story becomes about a strange visitor from another planet. To top it off, her top spot is in danger of being challenged by the newest reporter.

Jimmy Olsen: A student at Metropolis University, Jimmy also doubles as a staff photographer for the Daily Planet in his free time.

Chloe Sullivan: An old friend of Clark's from Smallville, she has also found her way to Metropolis and the Daily Planet. Combining her love of reporting and technology, she has worked her way up the ranks of the Planet's online division, and frequently helps Clark stay one step ahead of everyone.

Cat Grant: A new addition to the Daily Planet staff, Cat Grant is a lifestyles and society reporter with bigger ambitions. But can she control her ambitions to keep her out of trouble with the editors?

Perry White: A newspaperman his entire life, starting as a delivery boy, Perry White has risen through the ranks to editor-in-chief of Metropolis's most widely read newspaper. He has developed a special bond with his staff, but can still be the hard nosed editor needed to get the job done, and keep the presses running.
